Saild Sailing Log Book iPhone App Launched
We quietly launched out iPhone app last week. It’s currently available free in the Apple App Store.
The concept for the app follows that of Saild.com. We believe in simplicity and that means that you hit go and can leave it running while you get on with the important business of sailing and enjoying yourself. The app paves the way for users to populate their online log and start keeping a track of where they’ve been.
Current Features
- Create trips in your log
- Stores and uploads the track and distance you sailed
- Uploads any photos you take from within the app to the trip
- Allows you to include a comment on the trip
- Min/Max Wind Speed of the trip
The current version is quite simple but we will be continuing to add functionality as we go along. Currently we have support for iPhone/iPad, this will most likely expand to include the Android platform in the near future.
